10th International Conference "Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online"

The 10th International Conference “Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online” will take place at the Airport Hotel Okęcie (17 Stycznia 24 street, Warsaw) on 20th and 21st of September 2016.

The conference is organized by the Polish and German Safer Internet Centres, which have been working together within the European Commission’s Connecting Europe Facility Program. This year, the co-organizer of the conference will be the International Telecommunication Union. The main partner of the event is the Orange Foundation

Like every year, the conference will be devoted to a broad spectrum of issues related to the safety of children and young people on the internet. It is addressed to the representatives of the education sector, NGOs, the judiciary and law enforcement agencies and internet content service providers. The conference aims at raising awareness about the new challenges and opportunities in fighting online threats as well as at popularizing  best practices across different sectors.

We present the biographical notes and presentations’ abstracts of the speakers of the 10th International Conference Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online (PDF file). The conference materials also present organizers of the event, a detailed conference program, as well as provide information helpful for the participants of the event (eg. plan of the conference venue, simultaneous interpretation).

All The recruitment process was closed on 2 September. Participants of the conference are welcome to read the practical information (read more) which will be helpful in planning their participation in the event.
