Safer Internet Day 2007
The Safe Internet Day will be celebrated in all of Europe – and for the third time in Poland – on 6 February 2007.

The Safe Internet Day, established at the initiative of the European Commission within the "Safer Internet Action Plan" programme is aimed at initiating and propagation of actions favouring safe access of children and youth to the Internet resources. The Day is being organised by the Nobody’s Children Foundation and NASK, making up the “Awareness” consortium – responsible for the realisation of the "Safer Internet" programme in Poland. The TP Group Foundation has become the main Partner of this year’s Day.

As each year, we encourage you to join the celebrations of the Safe Internet Day.
You are also invited to take part in the pan-European Safe Internet Day 2007 competition organised by the European Safe Internet Network (Insafe).

****
The celebrations marking the Safe Internet Day consist in local initiatives organised by private persons or organisations interested in the propagation of children’s safety in the Internet.

We invite schools, Internet cafes, houses of culture, recreation rooms, non-government organisations, private companies, media and others to join the Safe Internet Day celebrations which, this year, fall on 6 February.
We also encourage you to take up actions promoting the subject of safety in the Network among children, youth and parents in any form: conferences, lectures, workshops, talks, picnics, performances...etc. All undertakings connected with the Day can be realised throughout the entire February.

We encourage all organisers of local events to active cooperation with local media. Press information should be sent to the media several days before the planned initiative. It should contain the Day’s characteristics and the description of the planned event
